The Ivorian SCHIBA Group has officially handed over construction equipment to support the implementation of major road infrastructure projects in Gabon during a symbolic ceremony held on Thursday, July 17, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nidjabedjan Soro, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SCHIBA Group, His Excellency Mr. Kouadio Konan Bertin, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to Gabon, and Mr. Edgar Moukoumbi, Gabon's Minister of Public Works and Construction.

According to a statement issued by SCHIBA Group, the equipment will be deployed across several strategic road corridors, including Bifoun–Lambaréné, Lebamba–Yéno, Yéno–Koulamoutou, and Makokou–Okondja. The initiative is expected to improve mobility, strengthen the country's transport infrastructure, and support Gabon's long-term economic development.

SCHIBA, an Ivorian group with a growing footprint across Africa, said this milestone reflects its commitment to supporting the Gabonese Government in delivering strategic infrastructure projects by mobilizing the expertise, workforce, and equipment required to ensure efficient execution within the agreed timelines.

On the occasion, SCHIBA Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Nidjabedjan Soro, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Gabonese authorities, the Ministry of Public Works and Construction, the Embassy of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire in Gabon, and all institutional partners for their trust and continued collaboration.
