As part of the implementation of the presidential program for the construction of social and economic housing, a decree declaring public utility for parcels of land intended for the construction of social housing in Adiaké Assomlan, Ahoué, Jacqueville Akrou, Songon Ayewahi, Yamoussoukro, and Yaou was adopted during the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Presidential Palace in Abidjan-Plateau.
Another decree was also adopted, declaring public utility for parcels of land located in Akoupé Zeudji, Bouaké, Korhogo, San Pedro, Yamoussoukro, and Yopougon. These lands are designated for the execution of the emergency program to build 25,000 housing units in Abidjan and across the country.
According to the Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson, Amadou Coulibaly, “All the parcels identified in the aforementioned localities and listed in these two decrees are being transferred to the State domain, in order to accelerate the development of the various housing construction programs planned for the District of Abidjan and the interior of the country.”
