2025–2026 Academic Year: Félix Houphouët-Boigny University Releases Administrative and Academic Request Schedule

Abidjan, July 25, 2025 – The official schedule for administrative and academic procedures for the 2025–2026 academic year at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University has been available since July 14, according to a university statement.

The document outlines the timelines during which students and other stakeholders can submit their requests to the relevant departments, particularly the Central Directorate of Academic Affairs (Scolarité centrale).

Requests for equivalence certificates, authorization (such as FIP 1 – Permanent Individual Training – and program changes), as well as re-enrollment applications, will be processed in two phases:

·        First phase: July 14 to July 31, 2025

·        Second phase: September 1 to September 8, 2025

For master’s and PhD cycles, the signature of supervision forms is scheduled from October 6, 2025, to April 30, 2026.
Thesis and dissertation defenses, along with all related procedures, will take place between October 6, 2025, and July 31, 2026.

The issuance of diplomas will occur between October 1, 2025, and July 15, 2026, while diploma authentication will be available from September 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026.

Applications for degree certification will be accepted from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
Finally, requests for suspension or interruption of studies must be submitted between September 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

In the statement, University President Ballo Zié called on the entire student community and users of the university to strictly adhere to these deadlines, which are essential for ensuring efficient and timely processing of all academic and administrative records.
