Agboville Regional Hospital: Improved Healthcare Services and Better Working Conditions

Agboville, Côte d’Ivoire – The working conditions of staff at the Agboville Regional Public Hospital (EPHR) have been significantly improved, thanks to new equipment provided by the government to strengthen patient care.

The hospital has been equipped with a 630 KVA generator and a modern medical ambulance, ensuring continuity of healthcare services even during power outages and enabling faster emergency response.

“We now have three ambulances that allow us to create a link between our hospital and higher-level facilities. Among them is a state-of-the-art medical ambulance,” said Essoh Savie, Director of the EPHR.
He added: “Our previous generator could no longer meet all the needs. The new one also powers the Blood Transfusion Center and the National Public Health Pharmacy. We can now work without stress.”

The hospital’s radiology department has also been renovated and expanded, offering a safer and more modern workspace for health professionals.
“Our working conditions have clearly improved. We now have new facilities that provide technicians with a secure environment to perform their duties,” confirmed Clément Ekra, Head of the Radiology Department.

These investments build on earlier rehabilitation efforts at the Agboville Regional Hospital and reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare system for the benefit of local populations.
