A new chapter is opening in the development of air transport and the strengthening of Côte d’Ivoire’s international connectivity. This promising outlook is materializing with the acquisition of two long-haul Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, each with a capacity of 242 seats.
Air Côte d’Ivoire unveiled the first aircraft on August 6, 2025, while the second plane was received in Abidjan on December 23, 2025. This new fleet confirms the acceleration of the airline’s long-haul development strategy.
The A330neo is the first wide-body aircraft in Air Côte d’Ivoire’s fleet and features a four-class cabin configuration: 4 seats in First Class, 44 in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 173 in Economy Class.
"Symbols of modernity and national pride, these aircraft provide greater comfort and efficiency to connect countries, reinforcing Côte d’Ivoire’s position as an aviation hub," says aviator Souleymane Bamba.
This initiative aligns with the authorities’ vision to establish a high-performing and competitive national airline, capable of supporting the country’s economic growth.
The acquisition of this fleet also aims to reduce fares and open new routes to Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.
