Scanner, MRI, mammography, mobile radiology, panoramic dental imaging, dermatology, gynecology, neurosurgery services, dental clinic. The new Bouaké Regional Hospital Center (CHR) is equipped with 13 fully operational medical services and a state-of-the-art technical platform.
Inaugurated in April 2025, the facility positions itself as a reference hospital in the central part of the country. Thanks to these cutting-edge medical equipments, populations in the Gbêkê region now have access to specialized healthcare close to home.
“My daughter had skin rashes, so I took her to a dermatology consultation. Here, patients are well taken care of. I also had the opportunity to visit the gynecology department, and the equipment is brand new,” says Nassata Konaté Ouattara, a teacher.
“Having a quality hospital close to home is every citizen’s wish. I broke my foot after a fall a few weeks ago. My condition would surely have worsened if we had to travel to another city for treatment,” says Nanga Coulibaly after his dressing.
The Bouaké CHR thus strengthens the existing healthcare offer and improves the functioning of the regional health network.
The Bouaké CHR is part of a project to build six hospitals in the central and northern parts of the country, with the objective of ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare across the entire national territory.
