The 13th edition of Côte d'Ivoire’s National Excellence Awards (PNE) was held on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Abidjan under the chairmanship of President Alassane Ouattara. A total of 80 winners, including 45 individuals and 35 organizations, were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials, including the Vice President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, members of government, heads of state institutions and members of the diplomatic corps.

For the 2026 edition, the National Excellence Awards received 3,977 applications for 87 categories. Among the 80 winners were 45 individuals, including 33 men, 11 women and one couple, as well as 35 organizations comprising 11 public administrations, 13 private companies, one local authority and 10 development structures and community organizations.

President Alassane Ouattara congratulated the award recipients and urged them to continue their efforts by upholding the standards of excellence and responsibility associated with the awards.

“These distinctions remind us that excellence is an ambition accessible to all those who embrace hard work, perseverance and discipline,” the President said.

The Head of State also encouraged young people to continue working tirelessly, believe in their abilities and develop skills and integrity in order to achieve their long-term goals.

This year’s winners received a trophy, a certificate signed by the President of the Republic and a financial reward of 10 million CFA francs. They will also be special guests at celebrations marking Côte d'Ivoire’s 66th Independence Day on Friday, August 7, 2026.
