Côte d’Ivoire Launches African Integration Master’s Program to Train a New Generation of Experts

The Minister Delegate in charge of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, H.E. Adama Dosso, officially launched the implementation process of the African Integration Master’s Program on Monday.

Held at the Ministry’s conference hall, the ceremony brought together key stakeholders of the project, including the Ivorian Bureau for the Promotion of African Integration (BIPIA), Alassane Ouattara University, and the UNESCO Chair on Education and African Integration.

In his address, the Minister Delegate emphasized that African integration is a major pillar of Côte d’Ivoire’s development policy, relying primarily on the strengthening of human capital. The Master’s program aims to train a new generation of professionals and experts capable of designing, managing, and implementing public policies for regional and continental integration.

The ceremony also marked the official installation of the program’s governance bodies, including the Steering Committee, composed of representatives from the Minister’s Cabinet, BIPIA, and Alassane Ouattara University.

Through this initiative, Côte d’Ivoire aims to position itself as a center of excellence in training for African integration, in line with regional and continental dynamics, particularly the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The program reflects the Ivorian authorities’ commitment to providing the continent with qualified human resources capable of driving the economic and institutional transformations necessary for successful integration.
