Côte d’Ivoire Wins Double Bronze at Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2025–2026

Côte d’Ivoire has achieved a remarkable international breakthrough by securing two bronze medals at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2025–2026, held in Shenzhen, China.

Competing against top talents from more than 120 countries, Ivorian students distinguished themselves in one of the world’s most prestigious ICT competitions, confirming the country’s rising status in the global digital innovation ecosystem.

In the Innovation category, the team composed of BERENGER EKRA, Goodness Quadri, and Bony Chris won third place globally, marking a historic performance for Côte d’Ivoire and for West and Central Africa.

In the Network category, another Ivorian team made up of Elvis N’Gatta, Harding Christ-Ariel Kouadio, and Moulo Oholo also secured third place worldwide, demonstrating strong expertise in digital infrastructure and network engineering.

These achievements highlight the exceptional potential of Ivorian youth, as well as the growing quality of higher education and training in the country’s technology and engineering institutions.

The Hub Ivoire Tech congratulated the students and their supervisors, along with partner institutions including the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB), ESATIC, Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Ivorian Institute of Technology, and Huawei Côte d’Ivoire, for their collective contribution to this success.

This double podium finish reinforces Côte d’Ivoire’s growing reputation as a key emerging player in digital transformation and technological innovation on the African continent and beyond.
