Jean-Louis Moulot, Minister Delegate in charge of Technical Education, met with a delegation from UNESCO, led by Chakroun Borhen, Director of Educational Policies, and Hervé Huot Marchant, for a working session focused on strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussions focused on several key areas of UNESCO support for the Ministry’s initiatives, aimed at modernizing technical education and aligning it with labor market needs. The planned measures include:

Training 2,300 technical education teachers on integrating artificial intelligence into their teaching practices;

Strengthening the capacities of trainers in partnership with the National Pedagogical Institute for Technical and Vocational Education (IPNETP);

Supporting the Curriculum Development Center in its work;

Establishing a labor market observatory to better align training with economic needs;

Supporting co-construction with the private sector to revitalize technical and vocational fields.
The meeting reflects a shared commitment to building a modern, innovative technical education system aligned with labor market demands, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and industrialization of Côte d’Ivoire.
