Côte d’Ivoire: Côte d’Ivoire Tourism and QITAA join forces to promote Ivorian culture

Côte d’Ivoire Tourism and the organizing committee of the interuniversity competition Abidjan Intellectual and Artistic Talent Competition (QITAA) have signed a partnership agreement at the institution’s headquarters in Cocody, Abidjan.

The partnership formalizes several years of collaboration between the two entities and aims to promote Ivorian culture, support excellence, and enhance the value of the country’s cultural heritage, particularly among young people in academic settings.

The agreement provides for institutional, technical, communication, and financial support to position QITAA as a platform for cultural influence and a driver of national tourism, in line with efforts to promote Côte d’Ivoire as a destination.

QITAA, a competition that combines intellectual performance with artistic talent, involves numerous schools and universities. It features educational and artistic contests, including traditional dance, history, gastronomy, and cultural expressions, as well as cultural immersion workshops across several cities in the country.

According to the organizers, this agreement marks a step forward in promoting Ivorian culture sustainably among younger generations and contributes to strengthening the country’s cultural tourism sector.
