CCI-CI Strengthens Economic Cooperation with Ghana Through High-Level Meeting

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire, Touré Faman, held talks on May 12, 2026, with Her Majesty Nana Kyeremaa Tua Abrafikoto, Queen Mother of the Ghanaian community in Côte d’Ivoire and founding President of the Ghana–Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting focused on strengthening economic cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, particularly in cross-border trade and the free movement of goods and people.

Discussions also reviewed findings from a study on bilateral trade, highlighting key barriers and proposing solutions to improve trade efficiency across borders.

Touré Faman welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the CCI-CI’s commitment to supporting the development of the new chamber. Both parties agreed on the upcoming launch of its activities within the CCI-CI premises.

The two institutions also planned joint participation in a cross-border trade workshop scheduled for May 13, 2026, in Aboisso.
