Four New Partnerships to Support 2,150 Young People in Côte d’Ivoire

The official opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the National Employment and Recruitment Fair (FNER), held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan, was marked by the signing of four framework partnership agreements between the Ministry of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service, through the Agence Emploi Jeunes, and strategic private-sector partners to provide employment and integration opportunities for 2,150 young beneficiaries.

Under the agreement signed with the Fondation AFG, 1,000 young people will be trained and integrated into the banking sector through an innovative temporary employment program designed to provide participants with valuable first professional experience across partner companies.

Through its partnership with Centaures Routiers, a leading player in the transport and logistics sector, the AEJ plans to train and employ 300 young people over the next three years in high-demand professions requiring qualified labor.

The agreement with Mayelia Academy introduces a distinctive approach for 450 beneficiaries by guaranteeing job placement for 75% of participants even before the start of their training. The program focuses on future-oriented professions linked to electric mobility and automotive maintenance, targeting sectors such as industrial production, distribution chains, and industrial logistics.

Unlike the first three agreements, which are newly established partnerships, the agreement signed with Nouvelle Brasserie de Côte d’Ivoire (NBCI) represents a renewal of an existing collaboration. Building on the positive results achieved during the previous partnership, the renewed agreement aims to train and integrate an additional 400 young people into industrial production and distribution professions, areas in which NBCI has recognized operational expertise.

These partnership agreements form part of the national policy aimed at promoting youth employability in Côte d’Ivoire.
