Investment Attraction: Côte d’Ivoire and Iran Explore New Cooperation Opportunities

Côte d’Ivoire and the Islamic Republic of Iran are strengthening their economic relations. On Monday, January 26, 2026, Mrs. Solange Amichia, Director General of the Côte d’Ivoire Investment Promotion Centre (CEPICI), met with His Excellency Mr. Meigoni Seyed Gholamreza, Ambassador of Iran to Côte d’Ivoire.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss investment opportunities available in Côte d’Ivoire and ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation. The Iranian Ambassador expressed the growing interest of Iranian companies in several strategic sectors, including energy, infrastructure, petrochemicals, and agro-industry.

Discussions also focused on investment promotion initiatives and the development of partnerships between Ivorian and Iranian economic operators. These efforts aim to encourage business establishment, promote skills transfer, and create added value for both economies.

Through this meeting, CEPICI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting foreign investors and positioning Côte d’Ivoire as an attractive and competitive destination for international investment.
