MTN Côte d’Ivoire Launches “Tomorrow is Now” to Boost Youth Self-Employment

Abidjan, February 15, 2026 – MTN Côte d’Ivoire officially launched its new platform, “Tomorrow is Now”, on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Abidjan-Cocody. The initiative aims to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit and promote the socio-professional integration of young Ivorians.

To accelerate youth-led projects, the mobile operator plans to provide a daily grant of one million FCFA over 40 days. Each day, one young person aged 18 to 35 will be selected by lottery to receive the funding.

According to company officials, the initiative serves as a practical lever against unemployment, complementing public policies already implemented by the government to promote youth employment. The stated goal is to strengthen youth autonomy and make young people key actors in national economic development.

“We firmly believe that youth are the engine of change. Through this initiative, we want to encourage every young Ivorian to take action, realize their projects, and get started by providing the necessary means and motivation,” said Sarah Koné, Head of Communications and Marketing at MTN Côte d’Ivoire. She emphasized that the initiative aims to foster a more dynamic and inclusive economic environment.

Participation is based on the company’s customer base. To be eligible for the lottery and try to win the daily grant, subscribers must sign up for the internet package called ‘C’CHIC’.

This campaign represents a further step in the company’s corporate social responsibility commitment, leveraging innovation and financial support to transform youth potential into entrepreneurial success.
