As part of a working visit to the Integrated Operations Management Center (CGIO) of the water utility company SODECI on June 11, 2026, Minister Djibril Ouattara praised the company’s ongoing modernization efforts.
The visit highlighted several technological solutions aimed at improving the management of public drinking water services in Côte d’Ivoire. These innovations include real-time infrastructure monitoring, the integration of connected devices across water networks, the development of customer-oriented digital solutions, as well as initiatives incorporating artificial intelligence.
During the discussions, the Minister encouraged SODECI to continue advancing its digital transformation strategy, emphasizing the critical role of innovation in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and quality of public services.
He stressed that the modernization of water infrastructure management is essential to meeting the growing needs of populations and ensuring sustainable access to potable water across the country.
