Quality Education: Ségali Stéphane Yéwé Urges His Team to Promote Moral and Professional Values

The Director of Orientation and Scholarships, Ségali Stéphane Yéwé, has called on guidance inspectors to further promote moral and professional values to ensure quality education in Côte d’Ivoire.

He made this appeal during a meeting held on November 4, 2025, between the Directorate of Orientation and Scholarships (DOB) and the guidance inspectors of Abidjan 1.

According to Mr. Yéwé, this meeting — which will also extend to his collaborators across the country — is part of an initiative aimed at bringing the central administration closer to its stakeholders.

On this occasion, the Director highlighted the importance of good practices such as integrity, honesty, diligence, and accessibility, while encouraging staff to strengthen their skills and share their experiences. He emphasized that these moral and professional values are key to reducing school failure rates and ensuring better student guidance and supervision.

Mr. Yéwé also reiterated the vision of the Minister of National Education and Literacy, Mariatou Koné, built around the theme: “Quality Education: A Sustainable Transformative Lever for Côte d’Ivoire.” He urged his collaborators to fully adopt the Dob Connect digital tool, designed to enhance close student supervision through the administration of the LYCAM psychometric test and the analysis of academic performance.
