SwissCham Relaunched in Abidjan to Boost Switzerland–Côte d’Ivoire Economic Ties

The Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire (SwissCham Côte d’Ivoire) was officially relaunched yesterday in Abidjan, marking an important step in strengthening economic relations between Switzerland and Côte d’Ivoire.

The event was held in the presence of Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, whose presence and commitment gave special significance to the occasion.

Under the leadership of Dominique Favre, Swiss Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, we also had the honor of welcoming Adama Coulibaly, Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget, as well as Nialé Kaba, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

SwissCham Côte d’Ivoire aims to promote trade, strengthen economic partnerships, and support the development of sustainable opportunities between the two countries.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to fostering an environment conducive to investment, innovation, and long-term cooperation.

We thank all partners and participants for their presence and engagement during this inaugural event.
