A member of the 54th graduating class of the École Militaire Préparatoire Technique (EMPT) de Bingerville and the 35th "Espoir" class of EFA Active Officers (2002-2004), Lieutenant-Colonel ASSANE KOUROUMA holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Strategy from the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr in France. He is also a graduate of the Enseignement Militaire Supérieur du Deuxième Degré (BEMS2) of the Führungsakademie in Hamburg. This senior officer has demonstrated quality service in the field of security for the benefit of his country. His leadership skills and innovations in the field of operational intelligence have not only enabled him to neutralize several networks and priority targets, but also to thwart large-scale terrorist attacks and actions, helping our country to maintain an appreciated climate of security. A highly valued senior officer, Lieutenant-Colonel ASSANE KOUROUMA has been awarded a number of distinctions, including : - Chevalier de l'Ordre National (2024); - Médaille des Armées (2023); - Médaille de la Défense Nationale Française (2023).
