AfCFTA Secretariat Pushes Green Industrial Growth at High-Level Dialogue on Sidelines of African Union Summit

On the margins of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, the AfCFTA Secretariat convened the AGII High-Level Dinner Dialogue to advance green industrial growth through regional markets and investment.

In his remarks, H.E. Wamkele Mene underscored that Africa’s challenge is no longer a lack of opportunity, but the absence of prepared, bankable pipelines at scale, highlighting the critical role of Development Finance Institutions and partners in closing this gap.

The Dialogue, themed “From Frameworks to Execution: Mobilising Regional Markets and Investment for Green Industrial Growth,” focused on accelerating project preparation, mobilising blended finance, and strengthening coordination to translate climate ambition into industrial competitiveness, jobs, and resilient growth. ‎
