On Friday in Abidjan, the President of the African Development Bank Group, Dr Sidi Ould Tah, held a working session with a Guinean ministerial delegation led by Ms Mariama Ciré Sylla, Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget and Governor of the African Development Bank Group for Guinea.
Discussions focused on strengthening the partnership, mobilising resources at scale and supporting Guinea’s major development projects, notably the Simandou 2040 Programme.
The five-member delegation also discussed the New African Financial Architecture for Development (#NAFAD) and the Four Cardinal Points, whose ambitions align with Guinea’s priorities, including capital mobilisation, infrastructure development, the development of natural resources, industrialisation and creating opportunities for young people and women.
Dr Ould Tah emphasised that the Bank Group would continue to support Guinea in achieving its economic and social transformation ambitions.
