BNI AND THE MINISTRY DELEGATED TO THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE, RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND FOOD CROP PRODUCTION SIGN A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

On Thursday, June 19, 2026, the 8th floor of the CAISTAB Tower, headquarters of the Ministry Delegated to the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Crop Production, hosted the official signing ceremony of a partnership agreement between the National Investment Bank (BNI) and the Ministry.

The BNI delegation was led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Youssouf FADIGA, accompanied by Ms. Flora KOUACOU, Acting Legal and Litigation Director, Mr. Christian AKA, Head of the Production and Monitoring Department, representing the Director of Corporate Banking and Relations with Financial Institutions, and Mr. Allégbé Guillaume KOKORA, Head of the Large Corporate Clients Department.

The ministerial delegation was led by Mr. Bernard KINI-KOMOÉ, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Crop Production. He was accompanied by his Chief of Staff and the Directors General of agencies under the Ministry’s supervision.

Held in the presence of the World Bank representative, Mr. El Hadj Adama TOURE, this ceremony marks a major milestone in the implementation of this strategic project aimed at sustainably strengthening food crop value chains in Côte d’Ivoire. It reflects the shared commitment of all partners to support the transformation of the agricultural sector, recognized as a key pillar of the national economy and a major driver of employment, income generation, and food security.

Through this agreement, BNI reaffirms its commitment to placing its financial expertise, in-depth knowledge of the national economic landscape, and innovation capabilities at the service of the successful implementation of the PDC2V project. The bank will support eligible beneficiaries in accordance with best management practices and the development objectives established by stakeholders.
