Côte d’Ivoire grants first PASSI cybersecurity accreditation to Kaydan Technology

Kaydan Technology has become the first Ivorian company to receive a PASSI accreditation from Côte d’Ivoire’s National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI), marking a new step in the country’s efforts to strengthen its cybersecurity framework.

The accreditation, announced on September 9, 2026, authorizes the company to operate as a Prestataire d’Audit de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information, or PASSI, a cybersecurity provider responsible for auditing information systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending measures to improve their security.

Kaydan Technology received the accreditation in the “Critical” category, the highest level of the national PASSI framework, according to local reports. The approval followed assessments designed to verify the company’s compliance with ANSSI’s security requirements.

The accreditation comes as Côte d’Ivoire seeks to strengthen the protection of digital infrastructure and increase cybersecurity standards across public and private organizations.

Kaydan Technology, a subsidiary of Kaydan Group, provides digital technology services including infrastructure, data and artificial intelligence, as well as cybersecurity solutions.

The development also reflects the growing role of local technology companies in Côte d’Ivoire’s digital transformation, as the country seeks to build stronger domestic capabilities in cybersecurity and digital services.
