On Monday, March 30, 2026, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Crop Production, Bruno Nabagné Koné, chaired a working session on the 23rd floor of the Caistab building in Plateau, bringing together the organization","Conseil du Café-Cacao","Ivorian cocoa regulatory body"], the Organisation Interprofessionnelle Agricole (OIA) and the Association des Producteurs de Café-Cacao de Côte d’Ivoire.

Following frank and constructive discussions, clear directions were established to ensure a swift return to calm. The Minister urged all stakeholders to strengthen their collaboration with the Conseil du Café-Cacao to clarify the situation regarding the 100,000 tonnes of inventoried stocks and to expedite their final removal as quickly as possible.

Reassured, the Association des Producteurs de Café-Cacao de Côte d’Ivoire, through its President, Sermé KARIM, expressed confidence in Minister Bruno Koné for his active involvement in resolving the crisis.
