Ivorian–Tunisian Cooperation: Opening of the 3rd Edition of the Economic Prospecting Days in Abidjan
On Monday, March 30, 2026, the Secretary General of the Ministry of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. YAPI Koffi Evariste, presided over the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Economic Prospecting Days, held in the Banquet Hall of the Ministry, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Zied SAADAOUI, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, who led the Tunisian delegation.
This event, reflecting the dynamism of Ivorian economic diplomacy, featured keynote speeches, sectoral panels, and experience-sharing sessions between public and private sector stakeholders.
In his address, the Secretary General commended the commitment of both Ivorian and Tunisian authorities and emphasized the importance of strengthening trade relations between the two countries. He also highlighted the central role of the private sector in the development strategy and the need to improve the business climate to enhance economic attractiveness.
Several institutions presented investment opportunities, particularly through the National Development Plan, investment incentives, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, and the development of industrial zones.
The event concluded with direct exchanges between economic operators, fostering the creation of new partnerships between Côte d’Ivoire and Tunisia.
