WEGO Group Chooses Côte d’Ivoire for Its First Francophone African Site

On January 27, 2026, Madame Solange Amichia, Director General of CEPICI, held a meeting with a delegation from the pharmaceutical group WEGO, led by its CEO, Mr. Shen Fu, regarding an investment project in the pharmaceutical industry, a priority sector for Côte d’Ivoire.

With nearly 40 years of experience, WEGO plans to establish its first subsidiary in Francophone Africa, highlighting the attractiveness of the Ivorian market and its strategic positioning as a regional industrial and pharmaceutical hub.

Both parties agreed to continue technical discussions to advance the project, with support from CEPICI, aiming at the concrete realization of this investment.
