The Primature in Côte d'Ivoire, also known as the Government, is the country's executive body headed by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is appointed by the President of the Republic, and is responsible for forming the government, coordinating government actions, and ensuring the implementation of policies decided by the President.

Role and duties :

Head of Government: The Prime Minister is the head of government and acts as the main intermediary between the President and the various ministers.

Government formation: The Prime Minister is responsible for forming the government, choosing the ministers who make up the cabinet.

Government coordination: The Prime Minister is responsible for coordinating government actions to ensure the effective implementation of national policies.

International Relations: As the government's representative, the Prime Minister takes part in international meetings and maintains diplomatic relations with other countries.

Management of Current Affairs: In the absence of the President, the Prime Minister manages current affairs and may act as interim Head of State.

Main ministries :

The Ivorian government is generally made up of key ministries such as Economy and Finance, Defense, Education, Health, Foreign Affairs and so on. Each of these ministries is headed by a minister appointed by the Prime Minister.

Current Prime Minister Mr. Robert BEUGRE MAMBE is a civil engineer with a number of projects to his credit, both in Abidjan and in the interior of the country (verification of the design calculation for the bridge between Yopougon and Attécoubé in 1977, calculation of the bridge over the Soleil district in Gagnoa, calculation of the bridge over the Téné river between Toumodi and Oumé and the bridge over the Mri between Bassam and Bonoua...).

A passionate researcher and futurist, Ivorian politician, lay preacher of the United Methodist Church of Côte d'Ivoire, Member of Parliament, head of the Songon elected (municipal) list, recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Lyon Business School (France), Robert BEUGRE MAMBE, 71, is the 2nd personality on the Board of the Rassemblement des Houphouetistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix (RHDP - ruling party).
