Executive Assistant to His Excellency the Ambassador
1. Job Description
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing private secretarial support to His Excellency the Ambassador.
- Managing the Ambassador’s schedule, appointments, official missions, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinating and following up on meetings, audiences, and official visits.
- Managing administrative correspondence and documents addressed to the Ambassador.
- Monitoring the implementation of the Ambassador’s instructions and coordinating with relevant departments.
- Acting as a liaison with government ministries, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and other partners.
- Assisting in the preparation and organization of official Embassy events, including the National Day Reception, cultural events, high-level visits, and public diplomacy activities.
- Preparing guest lists, protocol documents, and ensuring logistical follow-up for events.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Embassy.
2. Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a university degree equivalent to at least Bac+4.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree (Bac+5) or higher qualification will be given preference.
- Excellent presentation and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Excellent ability to organize work within a team, with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and openness in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent command of French (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Excellent command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Very good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, or Secretary within an embassy, international organization, public institution, or company will be considered a major asset.
