The Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) has announced the extension of voter card distribution across the country until Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Originally scheduled to end on Monday, October 20, the operation will continue in all polling stations nationwide, according to an official statement obtained by Abidjan.net.

The CEI reminds citizens that one of the following documents is required to collect their voter card: the national identity card, the enrollment receipt issued by the National Office of Civil Identification (ONECI), or the certificate of Ivorian nationality.

Exceptionally, voters may also present their previous voter card to retrieve the new one, the statement adds.

Finally, the CEI calls on all citizens to demonstrate civic responsibility and discipline to ensure the smooth completion of this key phase of the electoral process.
