Côte d’Ivoire:PDCI-RDA: Tidjane Thiam Carries Out Technical Reshuffle of the Executive Secretariat

The president of the PDCI-RDA, Tidjane Thiam, signed a decision on Monday, March 16, 2026, appointing five party members—including former minister Gnamien Yao—as executive secretaries, as part of a technical reshuffle of the party’s executive secretariat.

This was announced in a statement signed by Alain Cocautrey, Chief of Staff to President Thiam.

Under the new appointments, Gnamien Yao has been named Executive Secretary in charge of Training and the party’s Political Institute. Amankou Jean-Michel has been appointed Executive Secretary responsible for Elections, Civil Status, and Electoral Rolls.

Meanwhile, Nemin Béatrice has been assigned as Executive Secretary in charge of Legal Affairs. Anga Jean-Marc will oversee Strategy and Foresight, while Faizan Diby has been appointed Executive Secretary in charge of Decentralization.

Through the appointment of these experienced and dedicated party members, the party leader aims to strengthen and better structure the executive secretariat to address key priorities.

These priorities include improved preparation and enhanced security of electoral processes, strengthening legal expertise to better support party members—particularly those currently incarcerated—strategic anticipation of national challenges, and aligning training policies with the objectives of the PDCI-RDA Political Institute.
