In Brussels, Tidjane Thiam Speaks Out on Electoral Tensions in Côte d’Ivoire

In May 2025, Tidjane Thiam, president of the Democratic Party of Côte d’Ivoire – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA), was invited to Brussels by the International Democratic Union (IDU). This global organization brings together conservative political parties from around the world. During the meeting, Thiam expressed his concerns about the socio-political situation in Côte d’Ivoire ahead of the presidential election scheduled for October 2025.
