Touba, May 31, 2025 – The RHDP pre-congress in the Bafing region concluded with a major gathering at Place Cibouê this Saturday, under the supervision of the Minister of Employment and Social Protection, Adama Kamara, who represented the party's executive board.

The event, held on May 31 in Touba, turned into a celebration of unity among the region’s leaders and elected officials, as well as a tribute to President Alassane Ouattara. The atmosphere was warm and emotional, especially during the closing rally at Place Cibouê, following a day of working sessions held at the Regional Council headquarters.

Through four official motions presented by elected officials and executives, youth, women, and educators, RHDP Bafing expressed unanimous and enthusiastic support for President Ouattara. By acclamation, the delegates designated him as President of the Party and RHDP’s candidate for the October 2025 presidential election.

As First Vice-President of the pre-congress, Minister Moussa Sanogo spoke on behalf of the elected officials and executives. He highlighted the achievements of the development policies implemented since 2011, supported by concrete data. He emphasized several major projects carried out across Côte d’Ivoire, and especially in the Bafing region. These included improvements in road, health, education, water, electricity, security, and agricultural infrastructure, all contributing to a better quality of life for the population.

“Look at how far Côte d’Ivoire has progressed thanks to President Alassane Ouattara’s vision, focused on collective well-being and sustainable development for all. We are grateful citizens, aware of the path taken thanks to the Head of State,” declared Minister Moussa Sanogo, reaffirming Bafing’s commitment to the RHDP’s ideals of peace, social cohesion, and inclusive growth.

Minister-Counselor to the Presidency, Mamadou Sanogo, who served as President of the Pre-Congress, echoed this message. He emphasized Bafing’s determination to work toward an RHDP victory in the upcoming election. As President of the Regional Council, he also presented a detailed overview of the development achievements in each sector, particularly in basic infrastructure designed to bring services closer to the people.

He also praised the impact of the pre-congress discussions, which helped strengthen unity among the sons and daughters of Bafing.

“A lot is said, but those are just stories. We, the local leaders, are united. There is no issue among us in Bafing. We worked together, day and night, without calculation, to prepare this pre-congress. We are grateful and fully committed to the party’s victory,” he stated.

Minister Adama Kamara, Minister-Governor of Zanzan, and MP Ben Méité Abdoulaye witnessed this restored unity between Bafing’s elected officials and leaders, who worked hand in hand to ensure the pre-congress was a resounding success. Representing the RHDP executive board, Minister Kamara expressed his satisfaction and urged participants to preserve this cohesion through solidarity, humility, and attentiveness to grassroots supporters.

“The October 2025 elections will be critical. We must start preparing now because victory begins with strong organization,” he concluded.
