Gilles TOURE was born on October 04, 1973 in Abidjan. His love of fashion certainly began at birth. Like a fairy tale. In high school, he was already dressing his teachers. In his early teens, he expressed his desire to his parents to become a fashion designer. Wise and far-sighted, his parents gave him a gentle refusal. In fact, they made their acceptance conditional, especially as he was their eldest son. They advised him to get a university degree first. After passing his baccalauréat, he entered the Faculty of Economics, where, three years later, he obtained a bachelor's degree. Freed from his promise, he enrolled in an international fashion design school in Paris. He graduated top of his class. He then benefited from an internship with Paco Rabane. His career took off with his first major fashion show, "Turbulence". A collection created for Uniwax at the Yamoussoukro Chamber of Crafts. His reputation continues to grow. He created "féerie", which was a great success with each edition. He became the darling of many women in Côte d'Ivoire and abroad. His career has been filled with success. Gilles TOURE has been honored with a kora fashion. In 1999, he was named best fashion designer. He was made a Knight of National Merit.
