BRVM: SAPH, Filtisac, and Tractafric Shine Alongside Orange

Orange CI dominated the trading session with a decisive contribution, recording a market capitalization gain of 22.6 billion FCFA, making it the most influential stock of the day. This boost strengthened the upward trend of the indices: the BRVM Composite rose by 0.44% to 325.21 points, while the BRVM 30 and BRVM Prestige each gained 0.53%, reaching 161.13 points and 137.27 points respectively, confirming the leading role of large-cap stocks.

Meanwhile, Tractafric Motors (+7.46% at 2,520 FCFA) and Filtisac (+7.34% at 2,705 FCFA) were among the session’s top performers, benefiting from a technical rebound after dividend detachment. SAPH completed the winning trio with a 5.94% increase to 7,850 FCFA, reflecting speculative interest in the stock following a recent decline.

On the downside, Uniwax CI posted the steepest loss of the session (-7.48% at 1,175 FCFA), weighed down by profit-taking. Sucrivoire (-3.43% at 1,125 FCFA) and NEI-CEDA (-2.94% at 7,850 FCFA) also lost ground, highlighting the vulnerability of certain speculative stocks.

Finally, BOA CI stood out as the most actively traded stock, with a volume of 78.12 million FCFA, representing 13.3% of total transactions, which amounted to 588.2 million FCFA.
