The U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene have launched a flagship workshop in Abidjan aimed at training Ivorian health professionals in the use of data and artificial intelligence to prevent health crises. Led by Hannah Cooper, global health expert and CEO of Cooper/Smith, the workshop places innovation at the heart of U.S.–Côte d'Ivoire cooperation to save lives. Chargé d’Affaires Junaid Munir emphasized that health security is a global issue: strengthening health systems abroad also helps protect Americans at home.
