Côte d’Ivoire – United States of America: An Agreement Signed with the North American Renderers Association (NARA)

During his official mission to the United States of America from July 14 to 17, 2025, Mr. Sidi Tiémoko Touré, Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources, held several working sessions with American stakeholders in the animal and fisheries resources sector. Among these meetings, the session with the North American Renderers Association (NARA) was particularly fruitful.

NARA is an association dedicated to the development of export markets. It supports research and assists countries in industrial training and information.

According to diplomatic sources, discussions between the Minister and his counterparts led to the signing of a cooperation agreement on July 15, 2025. This five-year agreement aims to help Côte d’Ivoire improve its national animal production system, making it more efficient and high-performing.

The agreement covers key areas such as regulatory reform, the development of trade relations between Ivorian and American stakeholders in the sector, as well as study visits, sample exchanges, and technical assistance.

This partnership aligns perfectly with the vision and ambitions of the Minister, who seeks to modernize animal and fisheries production tools.
