On Thursday, January 15, 2026, following a meeting with the Vice President of the Republic, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Côte d’Ivoire, Jessica Davis Ba, who is nearing the end of her mission in the country, highlighted the willingness of Presidents Alassane Ouattara and Donald Trump to consolidate the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation, as well as the strategic partnership between their two countries across all areas, particularly in the security, economic, commercial, health and cultural sectors, for shared prosperity
