This win-win partnership materialized on October 9, 2025, through an economic meet-up that brought together key players from Côte d’Ivoire’s private sector.
Organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI) and the Côte d’Ivoire Investment Promotion Center (CEPICI), the event took place at the residence of the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates. It gathered numerous business leaders, entrepreneurs, and representatives of local companies eager to explore investment opportunities offered by both countries and to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
Discussions focused on the business climate, the banking system, tax incentives, legal guarantees, and the procedures for establishing businesses in both the United Arab Emirates and Côte d’Ivoire.
Through this initiative, the Embassy reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s economic development and to boosting trade and business partnerships between the two nations. The meet-up is part of a broader dynamic of South-South cooperation and the promotion of sustainable investments, contributing to deepening the bonds of friendship and trust between Abu Dhabi and Abidjan.
His Excellency Ali Youssef Alnuaimi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Côte d’Ivoire, commended the dedication of partner institutions and business participants. He reiterated his country’s determination to continue economic dialogue and to promote the implementation of joint projects in strategic sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agro-industry, and new technologies.
Ivorian partners expressed their satisfaction with this platform for exchange and announced the forthcoming organization of reciprocal economic missions aimed at deepening the investment opportunities identified during the meeting.
