On July 24, the U.S. Embassy brought together 40 journalists in Bouaké for a dynamic workshop focused on ethical and responsible journalism. This significant session marked the second phase of a nationwide training series, launched on June 25 in Abidjan by U.S. Ambassador Jessica Davis Ba and the Minister of Communication, Amadou Coulibaly.
To date, the program has trained over 70 journalists across the country, providing them with essential tools for fact-checking, media ethics, and responsible reporting. The Bouaké session was led by Félix Dibi Bony, a former U.S. exchange program participant, who guided attendees through practical exercises aimed at strengthening the integrity and credibility of Ivorian media.
