During the ceremony, the Chargé d’Affaires reaffirmed the United States’ unwavering commitment to combating antisemitism. He emphasized the necessity of remembering the six million Jews and millions of others who were murdered by the Nazis, as well as recognizing the crucial role played by American soldiers in liberating concentration camps, which helped bring an end to the Holocaust.
