In July, Indigo Côte d’Ivoire welcomed Fondation Hirondelle – Media for peace and human dignity. The delegation included Program Officer Julie Godignon and Senior Trainer Anderson Diedri. The meeting focused on the launch of a pilot project in Côte d’Ivoire, linked to the upcoming presidential elections.

The objective of the project is to understand the vulnerabilities of the information system, address foreign interference, and create a space for monitoring information.

The project, called Electoral Integrity Task Force, is implemented by a consortium composed of Fondation Hirondelle, Global Media Registry, and IFES. It is funded by the Government of Canada through the Embassy of Canada.

The meeting identified several possible areas of collaboration:

• Indigo will report cases of disinformation observed in the field.

• Indigo will share information about sensitive contexts and high-risk areas.

• Indigo may take part in the activities and training offered by Fondation Hirondelle.

• Fondation Hirondelle will share its analyses and reports with Indigo.
