On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Alassane OUATTARA, held a meeting at the Presidential Palace with the Ambassador of Morocco to Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Mr. Abdelmalek KETTANI.

As he comes to the end of his mission in our country, the Moroccan Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire came to bid farewell to President Alassane OUATTARA and took the opportunity to discuss the cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and the Kingdom of Morocco.

He expressed his satisfaction at having contributed to strengthening the friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and Morocco.

Ambassador Abdelmalek KETTANI expressed his hope for further strengthening of this cooperation through the implementation of numerous industrial, tourism, and infrastructure projects, as well as partnerships at all levels.

The head of Morocco’s diplomatic mission in Côte d’Ivoire also praised the remarkable progress made by the country under the leadership of President Alassane OUATTARA and wished for continued growth, unity, and stability, so that the tremendous potential of this great nation may be fully realized.

Furthermore, the Ambassador invited Ivorians to travel in large numbers to the Kingdom of Morocco for the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be held in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026.

It should be noted that the Minister and Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic, Mr. Fidèle SARASSORO, also attended the meeting.
