On November 26, 2024, U.S. Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Jessica Davis Ba, held a roundtable discussion with Ivorian journalists to reflect on the recent U.S. elections. She emphasized the strength of American democracy and its institutions, showcasing their resilience and commitment to transparency.

Ambassador Davis Ba also reiterated the United States’ support for Côte d’Ivoire’s upcoming 2025 elections through the #SIECLE project. This $15 million initiative, funded by the U.S. government via USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development), aims to ensure free, fair, transparent, and peaceful elections in the country.
