This week, Ambassador Jessica Davis Ba, accompanied by the U.S. Embassy Prosperity Working Group, met with the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The session was opened by Alex Severens, Acting U.S. Executive Director at the AfDB, alongside Lamin Barrow, AfDB Director General for West Africa, and Joseph Ribeiro, AfDB Deputy Director General.

Discussions highlighted Côte d’Ivoire’s economic prospects as a regional hub, the opportunities presented by the AfDB country strategy, and how U.S. companies can access these opportunities, while paving the way for new partnerships and joint initiatives to strengthen the future of U.S.–Côte d’Ivoire relations.
