U.S. Naval Forces Support Maritime Security Operations in Côte d'Ivoire

Since mid-April, U.S. Naval Forces Africa personnel have been in Côte d'Ivoire to directly support maritime operations alongside the Ivorian Navy. These efforts aim to combat illegal fishing and strengthen interoperability between U.S. and Ivorian forces, advancing American interests and protecting Côte d'Ivoire’s maritime economy.
