The President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire, His Excellency Mr. Adama Bictogo, received in audience on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Catherine Brooker, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire.

During their meeting, the British diplomat and her host reviewed the achievements of the cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and the United Kingdom, particularly the relations between the two Parliaments. They also discussed prospects for strengthening these bilateral ties.

Her Excellency Mrs. Catherine Brooker expressed her honor at the quality of her stay in Côte d’Ivoire, marked by memorable moments, including the successful organization and Côte d’Ivoire’s victory at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), as well as the warm hospitality of the Ivorian people.

This meeting took place as part of the Ambassador’s end-of-mission visit, after four years of service in Côte d’Ivoire.
