Côte d'Ivoire: October 2025 Presidential Election to Be Held in 11,906 Polling Locations, Including 71 Abroad (Decree)

The presidential election in Côte d'Ivoire, scheduled for October 25, 2025, will take place in 11,906 polling locations, including 11,835 within Côte d'Ivoire and 71 abroad, according to a presidential decree issued by President Alassane Ouattara and consulted by incotedivoire.net on Sunday, September 8, 2025.

Furthermore, according to Decree No. 2025-652 dated July 30, 2025, the election will be conducted in a total of 25,678 polling stations, comprising 25,370 in Côte d'Ivoire and 308 abroad.

As outlined in Article 2 of the decree, the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) may, if necessary, relocate one or more polling locations.

Article 3 specifies that the lists of polling stations will be posted in the administrative centers of prefectures, sub-prefectures, and municipalities, as well as at the headquarters of local electoral commissions. This process will be carried out by the CEI with the support of local and municipal authorities.

Abroad, the document adds, the lists will be displayed in Ivorian diplomatic and consular missions.
