Facing off against the Cameroonian Lionceaux in the final, the Éléphanteaux delivered a commanding performance to clinch victory with a final score of 62–49. This triumph marks Côte d’Ivoire’s first-ever title in this age category a monumental achievement for the nation’s basketball history.

With 6 wins in 6 games, the young Ivorian squad dominated the competition, showcasing exceptional teamwork, technical skill, and the mental strength of true champions.

Key players such as Jean-Philippe Oka, Raphaël Ouédraogo, and their teammates were instrumental in this unforgettable journey. Just two years after finishing 6th in the 2023 edition, this golden generation has risen to the top, making history as the first Ivorian team to win the Afrobasket U16 title.
