Basketball: Nigeria Crowned Champion of AfroBasket 2025!

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, Nigeria faced Mali in the final of the AfroBasket tournament held in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Nigerian women decisively defeated the Malian team with a final score of 78-64.

Nigeria maintains its dominance in AfroBasket, winning its 5th consecutive title.

It is worth noting that this year’s Women’s AfroBasket was played at the Palais des Sports in Treichville, Côte d’Ivoire.
