The Côte d’Ivoire U-23 national team secured a convincing 3–0 win over Tunisia on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny, during the second leg of their international friendly double-header.
Having already won the first match 2–1, the young Ivorians, coached by Younès Zerdouk, were determined to confirm their dominance. After a balanced first half that ended goalless (0–0), the Elephants stepped up their performance in the second half.
In the 56th minute, Zagadou Prince capitalized on defensive errors from Tunisia to open the scoring (0–1).
Clearly in control, Côte d’Ivoire extended their lead in the 82nd minute when Kouassi Yohan Junior delivered a precise cross from the right wing, allowing Dosso Ibrahim to head home the second goal (0–2).
The third goal came just four minutes later, as an ASEC Mimosas winger converted a penalty in the 86th minute following a clear foul on Namory Keita.
This strong performance marks a successful preparation phase for Younès Zerdouk’s squad as they gear up for upcoming competitions.
